A few years ago that, walking among the oaks that abound in my beloved Extremadura, more specifically in the highlands of Ibores, my mother told me with a mixture of joy and nostalgia that as a child, at home eating all kinds of herbs vegetables being caught directly from the field. He talked about the romazas (can substitute spinach perfectly, but have much less flavor), the wild asparagus, the dandelions and chickweed. All these herbs were, or not, a delicious snack in the past (but it was what I had).
What I found most interesting was the name of that plant called nonsense, and as I was able to test it, I did. He did not understand why a silver as pretty (because I assure you it is) had a name as "unattractive" to the time when I decided to clean them (lol). And that nonsense is not so much a chickweed collect them at the time, no, no. With a pair of scissors and cuts, you have a good bunch of them. Nor is a jerk (excuse) eating, as they have a nearly perfect size for eating without even having to cut them. No, chickweed, I assure you, is clean. And it turns out that as they grow in streams and form a dense vegetation cover, must be catching between their stems and leaves all kinds of bichillos, dried herbs and other "little things" that transports water. That was my first experience as a cleaner of nonsense for over 12 years. Today I thought 10 years was enough time to enjoy those little green plants lentil-shaped leaves of sweet and acid taste (I assure you that this time the process of cleaning the nonsense did not seem so horrible as the first time).

Ingredients for 2 people:
100 gr. of nonsense clean (if you do not find the nonsense, you can use canons)
50 gr. Jijona nougat
1 orange
2 fresh dates (or 3 dry)
Maldon salt
Vinegar of Modena
Extra virgin olive oil
Preparation of salad nonsense:
The process of making this salad does not have too much complication. As you see in the "step by step" on the recipe, it is the orange peel and cut the slices into pieces, remove the bones and cut the dates in half, cut the nougat into pieces also thoroughly wash the nonsense, mix the ingredients, and dress. For Aline, in case anyone has doubts about the order in which you have to take the salt, oil and vinegar, with this video you will see clear. And you know, if you find them and prefer to use canons, "Be of nonsense".
