One of the fish that I like along with hake or family, is the rape, I like both the furnace as grilled, with a sauce such as the American.
All we have to take into account when buying the rape, is that after the decline cook a lot, and when we bought it seems that we will overrun a lot, but as both shrinking and how good it is, not too many one bit.

One way to prepare rich monkfish
ingredients
Two rapes of 1.5 kg each (one for two)
1 large onion
4 medium potatoes
4 cloves of garlic
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons white vinegar
Chopped fresh parsley
Extra virgin olive oil
instructions
First forramos oven tray with foil
Cut the onion into rings and place on tray in one layer. We take a little oil on top.
Peel, clean and cut into slices not too short the potatoes, and put them on top of the onion. We took another little oil and salt it.
We cleaned and salted monkfish. Place it over the potatoes.
We take a little oil on the monkfish.
I put in the oven earlier calentadoa 180 for 25-30 minutes or so until the meat starts to separate from the spine.
While we are doing the monkfish in the oven, we will prepare the sauce. To do this, put oil in a pan covering entire bottom, and brown them a little sliced garlic.
As browned, retired and reserve the garlic in a bowl.
We removed the pan from the heat and add the vinegar. Mix well.
We add the two kinds of paprika, and mix. Reserve.
Monkfish When done, put it on a platter or serve directly to dishes.
The juice is left in the pan from the oven, we incorporate what we have reserved the pan, and put it over medium heat to warm the sauce and linking it. Add the chopped parsley and garlic aside.
Pour the sauce over the rape.
Notes
When I purchased the rape, I told them I separasen some meat of the spine, but without entirely separate, that had all the flavor that gives the spine, but that it should be fine.
